The Historic Greenway Trail in Franklin, Indiana covers 4.3 miles of scenic, paved, off-road pathways ideal for walking, jogging, and biking. The route connects Franklin’s parks, schools, community centers, and Franklin College, while passing through notable spots like Blue Heron Park, Greenlawn Cemetery, and Province Park. Along the way, trail users experience murals beneath bridges, picnic areas, water fountains, bike racks, and shaded green spaces, all just a short detour from downtown Franklin. The trail also provides access to recreational amenities, including a disc golf course, basketball courts, and a fenced dog park.
