About the Levee Trail

Built along the levee of scenic Morse Reservoir, the Levee Trail offers a paved, multi-use path perfect for walking, biking, and running. For much of your journey, you’ll ride or stroll high above the shimmering water, where the horizon opens wide to reveal stunning sunset views. Early mornings and evenings bring a tranquil beauty to the trail, with herons, geese, and turtles often spotted along the shoreline. The combination of lake breezes, rustling cattails, and panoramic water views makes this trail one of Hamilton County’s most peaceful escapes.

The Levee Trail also provides access to Morse Park and Beach, where visitors can swim, picnic, or launch kayaks during summer months. It connects seamlessly with nearby trail networks, offering an easy route into downtown Noblesville for those looking to extend their ride.

Just a short distance away via an access path lies downtown Cicero, a welcoming lakeside community that feels tailor-made for a post-ride reward. Stroll through its walkable streets to find local boutiques, cafés, and ice cream shops, or catch live music during the summer at Red Bridge Park. You can also reach the Steven Nation Community Pathway, a connector trail that links you to the Strawtown Koteewi Park with horse rides, tree-top adventure course, archery center, and more.

The trail also links to the White River Greenway and the Midland Trace Trail via connector trails.
