Join NRHT, Inc. for the first in a series of six monthly rides exploring open sections of the cross-state National Road Heritage Trail. This 20-mile slow-to-moderate pace ride spans the width of Plainfield, traveling west to the end of the Vandalia Trail before looping back east through town. Along the way, riders will explore several connected trails and pause at a Historic National Road interpretive panel beside White Lick Creek. The route includes multiple options for a trailside lunch stop, making it a great blend of history, scenery, and community cycling.
